AL MP Pankaj Debnath removed from party postRuling Awami League MP from Barishal-4 (Hijla-Mehendiganj) Constituency Pankaj Debnath has been dismissed from all posts on charges of violating the party discipline.
It was said in a letter signed by Awami League Central Office Secretary Biplab Barua.
Barishal District Awami League General Secretary Talukdar confirmed the matter on Monday afternoon. Yunus said that they have already received the copy of the letter given by the Central Awami League. Actions are being taken accordingly.
He said that MP Pankaj Debnath is a member of Barishal District Awami League Advisory Council. Besides, he has no position in the local Awami League.
MP Pankaj Debnath did not found over the phone despite several attempts.
