Representing global beauty brand L’Oréal Paris as a brand ambassador, the Bollywood actor turned heads on the red carpet in a custom-designed Gucci saree a historic first for the luxury fashion house, reports Hindustan Times.

The actor revealed that a last-minute power outage nearly derailed her preparations. “We had no electricity for the last four hours,” she shared, recounting how her hairstylist, Amit Thakur, had to improvise by heating her hair extensions in the sun using a tong. “We figured it out as we’re going, but now we’re very grateful and thankful that the electricity is back.”
Despite the hurdles, Alia Bhatt stunned in a silver, crystal-embellished Gucci saree, featuring the label’s iconic GG monogram.
The contemporary ensemble included a sleeveless, backless blouse with a plunging neckline, a floor-length skirt, and a stylish palla draped elegantly over her shoulder. She completed the look with a silver mini Jackie handbag, also from Gucci.
The moment marked a milestone for both Alia and Gucci – it was the Italian fashion house’s first-ever bespoke saree, blending traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern glamour.
