The government will demand the return of all fugitive MPs and ministers, said Shafiqul Alam, the press secretary to the chief advisor.
He said this at a press conference at the Foreign Service Academy on Monday.
He said, “The government will demand the return of all those who have fled abroad by committing murder and corruption. All fugitive MPs and ministers will be brought to the justice”
The press secretary also said that to take mutual relations with Qatar to a new level, there will be many meetings on cooperation in the labor market and energy in Qatar.
Stating that there is a possibility of a bilateral meeting with the deputy prime minister of Qatar and the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim, he said that the meeting will discuss visa facilitation and fuel.
Shafiqul Alam also said that Dr. Yunus will give an interview at the head office of Al-Jazeera in Qatar. There will be a two-and-a-half-hour session on the Rohingya in Qatar, in which Dr. Yunus will participate. From there, there will be some further progress in resolving the Rohingya crisis.
