Former ministers Anisul Huq, Hasanul Haque Inu, Rashed Khan Menon, Dipu Moni, and former MP Sadek Khan- were placed on fresh remand in different cases.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shahin Reza’s court gave the order on Wednesday.

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal president Hasanul Haq Inu, Workers Party president Rashed Khan Menon, and former education minister Dipu Moni were given a four-day remand each in a case filed over the death of Obaidul Islam in Jatrabari during the student-people uprising.

Former law minister Anisul Huq was put on a three-day remand in a case filed over the murder of a man named Md Sujon in the Bosila area of Mohammadpur in Dhaka during the student-people uprising.

Former MP Sadek Khan was put on a three-day remand in a case filed over the death of Mirajul Islam Arnob in the Bosila area during the student-people uprising.
