The annual general meeting of Raiganj Upazila Rice Mill Owners Cooperative Association was held at its office premises in Chandaikona baza’ar of Raiganj upazila in Sirajganj district on Sunday last.

The programme was presided over by the association member Abdur Rakib Biswas and conducted by director of the association Omar Farooq Panna .

Various work plans including budget on upcoming financial year, income and expenditure were also taken in the meeting.

Besides, Abdul Motaleb was made its acting president due to inactiveness of previous president Abdul Hannan Khan in the present committee.

In addition, the decision to reinstate the association’s general secretary Shahidul Islam Akand, directors Md. Jahangir Alam, Md. Omar Farooq Panna, SM Sagar Sarkar and others in their respective positions like previous period was also taken in the meeting.

Other members and leaders of the association were also present in the event.
