Purnima, the popular film actor of the country, will complete 27 years in the film industry. The artiste made her film debut with Zakir Hossain-directed film “E Jibon Tomar Amar” in 1998. The movie was released in theatre on 15 May in 1998.

Since the release of “E Jibon Tomar Amar”, Purnima has become the audience favourite heroine by acting regularly in movies. The actor also received the National Film Award for her performance in the movie “Ora Amake Bhalo Hote Dilo Na” directed by Kazi Hayat. Purnima’s latest released movie was “Ahare Jibon” directed by Chhatku Ahmed.

In addition to acting regularly in movies, Purnima has also worked as a model in advertisements and has soaked herself in the love of the audience. Purnima has also received great praise for her presentation. She is currently working as a judge on a cooking show on Maasranga TV.
