A Correspondent, Tarash:

An auto-rickshaw driver was killed and three others were injured in a head on collision between two auto-rickshaws on the Tarash-Ranirhat regional roads under Tarash upazila of Sirajganj district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Abdus Samad Mandal, 60, resident at Namasylot village in the upazila.

Police said, the accident took place at around 1:00pm, when two auto-rickshaws collided head on leaving four persons injured.

The injured were taken to Tarash upazila complex. Of them, critical injured Abdus Samad Mandal was referred to Shaheed M Mansur Ali Hospital in Sirajganj town as his condition deteriorated further. He succumbed to his injuries in the hospital, while undergoing treatment.
