A training aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) crashed in Dhaka’s Uttara on Monday afternoon, July 21.

The plane crashed in Milestone College area, said Lima Khanam, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence.

Being informed, three units of the firefighters rushed to the spot and were trying to douse the blaze, she said, adding that two more are on the way.

The Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) said in a message that an F-7 BGI training aircraft of Bangladesh Airforce (BAF) crashed in Uttara after taking off at about 1:06pm.

In this regard, Mahidul Islam, deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metrpolitan Police’s Uttara Division, said they were informed about the incident and are trying to be confirmed.
