A Bangladeshi youth named Muruli Chandra has been killed and two others received bullet injuries by BSF firing at Burirhat border in Kaliganj of Lalmonirhat in just three days.

The murder took place near Burirhat border pillar no- 913/4S of Kaliganj upazila on Saturday morning.

It is known that the patrol team of India’s 75/Chitrakot BSF camp fired several rounds at the Bangladeshi youth in Beltala area of ​​border pillar no- 913/4S early in the morning. A Bangladeshi youth named Muruli Chandra was killed on the spot.

At this time, two others named Mizanur Rahman and Liton Mia were injured. The two bullet victims are undergoing treatment at the Kaliganj Thana Health Complex. Muruli’s dead body was brought to Kaliganj police station. All of them are residents of the Chandrapur border area of ​​the upazila.

When the news of Muruli’s death spread, people gathered at Kaliganj police station to see the body. Meanwhile, Muruli’s family– daughter and wife– are crying.

Kaliganj police station OC Imtiaz Kabir confirmed the matter and said that the body of a person who was shot has been brought to the police station.

Earlier on Monday (March 25) a Bangladeshi youth named Liton Mia was killed in BSF firing at Durgapur Dighaltari border. Later, BSF returned his body through Jawarani border of Hatibandha upazila on Wednesday night, two days after the killing.
