Prominent economist Dr. Enayet Karim, also President of the Global Economist Forum, a UN based advisory body, has been elected as President for Barishal Zilla Samiti and Abu Bakkar Siddique Sohel, founder president of the national award-winning youth organization-Abiskar, has been elected as its General Secretary for the next two years.

In addition, Advocate Abdul Latif Lal, Enayet Hossain Babul, ABM Mohiuddin Khan Chowdhury, Md. Moniruzzaman Shaheen, and Sanjib Chatterjee have been elected as president, while Mohammad Hafizur Rahman elected as Finance Secretary and Advocate Md. Mamunur Rashid as Office Secretary.

Among others, Md. A. Quader Akon and Shamsul Alam Zulfikar have been elected as Joint General Secretaries, Md. Mosle Uddin Khan Nobel as Organizing Secretary, Advocate Abul Kalam Azad as Legal Secretary, Mahbub Lablu as Publicity and Publication Secretary, M. Zahirul Alam Iqbal as Literary and Cultural affairs Secretary, Md. Monirul Islam as Labor affairs Secretary, Md. Abdul Jabbar as Social Service affairs Secretary.

On the other hand, Ziaul Karim Kislu, Professor Dr. Abdus Chabur Matubbar, Mahbubur Rahman, KM Kamruzzaman Nannu, Md. Siddiqur Rahman Howlader, Shahidul Islam Sentu, Md. Iktiar Uddin Mridha and Syed Al Amin have been elected as Executive Members of the organization.
