Biman Bangladesh Airlines will reissue or rebook tickets without any extra charge for the passengers affected by the ongoing devastating flood that ravaged the eastern part of the country. Considering the ongoing severe floods and natural calamities in the country, the national airline has set one-way fare for Dhaka-Chittagong and Dhaka-Sylhet routes at Tk5,400 for economy class, said a press release.
The predetermined minimum fare of business class will be kept open for the convenience of passengers. Also, if passengers of flood affected areas fail to travel in the current condition, they can travel later without any charge subject to the availability of seats.
Passengers are also requested to contact 13636 at the concerned ticket issuing agency, Biman’s nearest sales centre or call centre for travel delay, ticket date change or reissue.
The service will be provided free of charge to passengers until the flood situation improves.
