Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Assistant Secretary General Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan said, BNP is a big party for Bangladesh, but not a popular party. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is a party that never had any conflict or bloodshed in its history. Jamaat has always believed in discipline, ideology and people-to-people politics.
He made these remarks as the chief guest at a view-exchange meeting organized with election agents at a local community center in Ullapara of Sirajganj district around 10:00 am on Saturday (November 8).
Rafiqul Islam said, “But after the July Revolution, more than 150 workers have been killed in clashes among themselves. This is proven by the organizational instability of BNP.”
He also said, “The people of the country are now waiting for change. They are eager to vote for Jamaat-e-Islami. The peace-loving people of the country want to give responsibility of running the country this time on Jamaat-e-Islami. Every Jamaat leader and worker must be extremely vigilant so that no one can snatch the people’s verdict. Vote robbery does not occur.”
The view-sharing meeting was chaired by Upazila Jamaat Office Secretary Md. Abdul Bari and Upazila Jamaat Ameer and former Vice Chairman of Upazila Parishad Professor Shajahan Ali.
Upazila Jamaat Secretary Md. Khairul Islam, Upazila President of Bangladesh Ideal Teachers Federation SM Khairul Bashar and local leaders and workers also spoke at the time.
