BNP agrees with almost 94% of the 826 state reform proposals tabled by the government-appointed commissions, and differs only on 51 out of these, said the party’s Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed on Friday.

On Friday noon, he informed reporters about BNP’s position after visiting the director general of the Darul Ulum Mainul Islam Madrasa at Hathazari, Chattogram.

BNP is taking all the necessary steps for implementing the July Charter and 94% of state reform proposals, he said.

On the issue of proportionate representation system in the next elections, Salahuddin said BNP has not heard of any specific government declaration in this regard.
