The group stage of the BPL has ended. Packed with drama and excitement, the 11th edition of the tournament has found its top four teams, who will now battle for the championship title.

After a one-day break, the playoffs will begin on Monday (February 3). Defending champions Fortune Barishal finished at the top of the table and secured their spot in the first qualifier. Their opponent in Monday’s first qualifier will be Chattogram Kings, who defeated Barishal in the final group-stage match to climb to second place, surpassing Rangpur Riders.

The Barishal vs. Chattogram match in the first qualifier will start at 6:30 PM tomorrow. Earlier that day, at 1:30 PM, the Eliminator match will take place, where Rangpur Riders and Khulna Tigers will compete for a place in the second qualifier.

The second qualifier will be held on February 5. The losing team from the first qualifier will face the winner of the Eliminator. This match will also begin at 6:30 PM. All matches will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, known as the “Home of Cricket.”

According to BPL rules, the playoffs will be divided into qualifiers and eliminators, giving an advantage to the top two teams in the points table. The winner of the first qualifier will advance directly to the final, while the losing team will get another chance in the second qualifier. The Eliminator winner will face the first qualifier’s losing team in the second qualifier. In contrast, the third- and fourth-placed teams in the points table will be eliminated if they lose in the Eliminator. If they win, they must play another match to reach the final.
