Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU)’s new Director (Hospital) Brigadier General Abu Noman Mohammad Mosleh Uddin assumed his duties yesterday.

He replaced the recently outgoing Director Brigadier General Md. Rezaur Rahman.

Brigadier General Md. Rezaur Rahman was appointed on December 1, 2022 and assumed his duties as Director on December 15 of that year.

On the other hand, Brigadier General Abu Noman Mohammad Mosleh Uddin was appointed as the Director (Hospital) of BSMMU on January 15 and assumed his duties yesterday.

Before joining this post, he served as a Brigadier General in the Bangladesh Army.

BSMMU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Shahinul Alam, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research and Development) Professor Dr. Md. Mujibur Rahman Haolder, Treasurer Professor Dr. Nahrin Akhtar, Director (Hospital, Additional Responsibilities) Dr. Hasnat Ahsan Sumon, Deputy Director Dr. Md. Abu Naser, Assistant Director Md. Azizur Rahman, and Private Secretary-2 to the Vice Chancellor Lutfar Rahman were present.
