Shobnom Yesmin Bubly entered the Dhallywood film industry in 2016 with her debut film in “Bossgiri”. Now, after nearly a decade in the industry, she is set to embrace a new role as a producer. she officially announced the launch of her own production company, Big Production.
The company will strive to produce films, dramas, short films, and music videos. Its journey will begin with a drama scheduled for release during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, while a film project is in the works for next year. Bubly announced the updates in a video message.
Reflecting on her journey, Bubly said, “Throughout my career, I have worked with many production houses, and that experience led me to establish Big Production. Many skilled and experienced professionals are joining me in this initiative. I have always aimed to be part of quality projects, and as a producer, I want to deliver meaningful work.”
Her productions will include well-known actors, but she is also committed to providing opportunities to new talent. “I want to work with everyone—experienced artistes alongside fresh faces will get a platform. Many talented individuals struggle to secure big roles simply because they are new, and we want to change that,” she added.
Discussing her plans for Big Production, Bubly stated, “Coming from a film background, filmmaking is certainly a priority for me. However, it is a significant endeavour that demands more experience. This year, my focus will be on dramas, short films, and music videos to gain that expertise. Our journey will begin with a drama for Eid-ul-Azha, followed by other projects. Big Production plans to venture into filmmaking next year, and when the time is right, we will make an official announcement.”
Besides, alongside her new role as a producer, Bubly continues to stay active in acting. As in previous years, several of her films are scheduled for release this Eid-ul-Fitr. Among them, “Pinik” and “Jongli” have already been officially announced.
