Popular Dhallywood actor Shobnom Bubly has signed a new film after about eight months. The film titled “Neel Tip”, will be directed by Mehedi Hasan.

About the project, director Mehedi said, “The story of the film revolves around Bubly. She also liked the story. Female-centric films are less made in our country. Once, films were made on Shabana madam. I also want to take a risk on Bubly this time. Besides, we want to cast a small screen actor opposite Bubly. I don’t want to reveal the name now as it is yet to be finalised. I hope we can present a good film to the audience.”

The shooting of “Neel Tip” will start soon.

Bubly was last seen in Md Iqbal-directed “Revenge” on Eid-ul-Azha. She paired with Ziaul Roshan in the movie. She is now waiting for the release of the much-anticipated film “Jongli” starring opposite Siam Ahmed. M Rahim has directed the project.

The actor has also a Tollywood film “Flashback” in the pipeline. Directed by Bangladeshi filmmaker Rashed Raha, the movie also features Kolkata’s actors Kaushik Ganguly and Sourav Das. The teaser of the film has already been released. “Flashback” will be Bubly’s Tollywood debut film.
