A meeting was held at Kawakhola Union Parishad in Sirajganj Sadar upazila on Tuesday marking the upcoming budget 2025-26.

The Union Parishad organized the programme with the assistance of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society’s Jamuna Project.

Abdur Razzaque Bhuiyan, Panel chairman of the Union Parishad presided over the budget preparedness meeting.

In this meeting, a total of Tk 3,47,56,268 was announced for the proposed budget. Administrative Officer of Kawakhola Union Parishad Md. Ali Ashraf Sarkar presented this proposal.

Sirajganj Thana BNP Senior Vice President Lutfar Rahman Bhuiyan, Kawakhola Union BNP Former President Badal Mondal Gutu, Former General Secretary Nurul Huda, Union Jubo Dal Vice President Rajab Mondal, Swechchhasebak Dal President Md. Shakil Bhuiyan, UP members Md. Nazrul Islam, Md. Mostafa Kamal, Md. Shahjamal Sheikh, UP members Anwara Begum, Sajeda Begum, Former UP member Kalam Munshi and Accounting Assistant Zahidul Islam among others were also present in the programme.
