Dr. Mohammad Yunus, Chief Advisor to the interim government, will officially inaugurate the 7th National Comdeca 2025 to be held at the hard point of Sirajganj town protection embankment on 19-25 February.

Almost all preparations have already been completed for the formal inauguration of this Comdeca.

The Chief Adviser will take part in the inaugural programme of the 7-day Comdeca virtually from Dhaka, Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder said.

Bangladesh Scouts is going to arrange the Comdeca with a slogan of “building discrimination-free society”.

Around 6,000 people, including 4,000 rover scouts and 1,500 volunteers, are expected to be participated in the event.

Bangladesh Scouts Assistant Director Nasir Uddin said the Bangladesh Scouts headquarters and Sirajganj district administration are continually monitoring the arrangement of the Comdeca to make it a success.

The third Comdeca was held in Sirajganj hard point in 2001.
