Staff Correspondent: The Cabinet has given six guidelines to deal with the crisis next year. This decision was taken in the Cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister’s office yesterday.
In the meeting presided over by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, six guidelines were given to deal with the crisis, including tax exemption at source on food imports.
Meanwhile, after the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Khandkar Anwarul Islam informed the journalists at the Secretariat.
He said that the Cabinet has given guidelines on increasing production, sending foreign skilled manpower, increasing remittances, increasing foreign direct investment and keeping food stocks in a comfortable state.
