Capital Drama has released its latest television play “Khuji Toke”, featuring popular artistes Yash Rohan and Sadia Ayman in the lead roles.

Directed by Imraul Rafat, “Khuji Toke” presents an exceptional love story where love is not about finding someone, but about getting lost and rediscovering them again and again. The artistes have sought to portray this philosophical aspect of love through a completely cinematic approach.

From storytelling and dialogue style to visual treatment and camera work—every element of the production carries a strong cinematic essence. The drama also includes two intense fight sequences, offering television audience a fresh experience.

Yash Rohan and Sadia Ayman appear in completely new and distinct roles, revealing different dimensions of their acting abilities.

Adding to its visual appeal, “Khuji Toke” was filmed across 34 different locations in and around Khulna city, enhancing the drama’s visual richness.

Sharing her experience, Sadia Ayman said, “Shooting for ‘Khuji Toke’ was an amazing experience. We filmed in both Dhaka and Khulna. It was my first time in Khulna, and I really enjoyed working there. Rafat bhai was my first director, and after about seven years, I got to work with him again. It was exciting to collaborate once more on such a beautiful story.”

“For a long time, I’ve wanted to offer something new to the audience, and ‘Khuji Toke’ is that story. I believe this play proves that television dramas can also tell stories in a truly cinematic way. My only hope is that viewers will watch and enjoy it”, she added.

Radio Capital’s Head of Operations, Anwarul Alam Sajal, said, “Khuji Toke is a pure love story. It’s a very well-organised production. When I watched it myself, I felt like I was watching a movie. The audience will also get that same cinematic feeling.”
