Criminal cases filed between July 1 and August 5, aimed at suppressing the recent uprising of students and citizens that led to the fall of Sheikh Hasina, will be withdrawn within the next three working days.
The decision was made during a meeting of the Law and Justice Division, chaired by Asif Nazrul, the interim government’s Adviser for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs.
The law ministry also announced that four additional policy decisions were made during the meeting.
