The play “Chander Hat”, released on Eid-ul-Azha 2024, was at the top of YouTube trends for quite some time. It has been viewed nearly 20 million times. Its sequel “Chander Hat 2” will be aired on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. This time too, Tawsif Mahbub has played the role of “Chad”. As usual, Keya Payel will be seen in the role of “Purnima”.

Like “Chander Hat”, KM Sohag Rana has also written and directed the “Chander Hat 2”. In his words, “There is a great story centered on the cow market, combining comedy, love and humanity. There are some messages wrapped in humour.”

Monira Akhter Mithu is returning to play as the mother of “Chand” and Dr Ejajul Islam will play the role of Purnima’s uncle.  MNU Raju, AB Rokon and many others have also acted in it. The drama has been recently shot. Aditya Monir is the cinematographer.

“Chander Hat 2” is produced by director Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz. He is optimistic about this episode as well. He believes, “The audience will find something fun and educational at the same time in this drama.”

“Chander Hat 2” will be released on the YouTube channel Cinemawala on Eid-day. The background music of the drama has been composed by Rafiqul Islam Farhad. Rashed Rabbi is in charge of colour arrangement and editing.
