Popular Bangladeshi band “Chirkutt” at a concert titled “Love Bangladesh” in London tomorrow on the occasion of Victory Day. Bangladeshis in London will listen to all of Chirkutt’s popular songs including “Ahaare Jibon”, “Jadur Shohr”, “Khajna”, “Kanamachi”, “Duniya” at the event Abdullah Mahmud, the head of Next Stage Events, the organiser of the programme, confirmed the news from the UK.
He said that the concert organised by Next Stage Events will be held from 4:30pm to 10:00pm on Victory Day at the May Fair venue in Romford, London. There will be no tickets for this concert, which is open to everyone, including expatriate Bangladeshis. However, the organisation has said that registration will be required for the programme.
Chirkut will collaborate with international musicians in the concert.
About the concert, “Chirkutt” band lead vocalist Sumi said, “We have done international collaborations at various times to bring Bangla songs to the world. This time too, artistes from different countries will perform with us. The familiar ‘Chirkutt’ will be there in a new format.”
“Chirkutt” previously performed at the Tower Hamlets ground in the UK in 2018.

After the concert, “Chirkutt” will return to the country on December 21 to sing at the Army Stadium in a charity concert for the treatment and rehabilitation of those injured in the July Revolution.
