Light to moderate rain may occur in different parts of the two divisions in the country today. The weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Tuesday said that rain or drizzle may occur at one or two places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, and the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

Besides, moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins of the country and light to moderate fog elsewhere over the country from midnight to morning, the weather forecast also said. “Inland river transport may be disrupted temporarily due to thick fog.”

At this time, the night temperature may rise “slightly” across the country and the day temperature may remain nearly unchanged, said the Met Office.

Weather will remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky on Wednesday. The BMD, the country’s Met Office, forecasted that the “night temperature may drop by (1-2)°C” and the day temperature may fall slightly over the country.
