The Central Command Council of Bangladesh Freedom Fighters’ Association approved the new 11-member committee of Sirajganj District Unit Command on August 11, 2025.

In the meeting held on 14 August 2025, Veteran Freedom Fighter Azizur Rahman Dulal was unanimously nominated as the advisor.

Veteran Freedom Fighter Mohammad Meser Uddin Sheikh has been elected as the Convener of the new committee. Bir Freedom Fighter Mohammad Mahfuzar Rahman has been elected as Joint Convener and veteran Freedom Fighter Mohammad Abu Taher Khan as Member Secretary.

The formal activities of the unit command began with a prayer mahfil. The meeting was presided over by Sirajganj District Commander and Convener Veteran Freedom Fighter Mohammad Meser Uddin Sheikh and conducted by Member Secretary Veteran Freedom Fighter Abu Taher Khan.
