Coronavirus deaths have risen 43 percent in a week

With the increase in the number of patients infected with corona virus in the country, the death rate is also increasing. In the last one week, the death rate has increased by about 43 percent (42.64 percent). At the same time the rate of sample testing, detection and recovery rate increased.

The number of deaths from coronavirus in the 47th week (November 6 to 14) was 124. In the 47th week (November 15 to November 21), the death toll rose to 16 .

Saturday (November 21) in the afternoon, the Additional Director General of the Department of Health (Administration), Professor. This information was given in a notification signed by Nasima Sultana.

According to the notification, 96,292 samples were tested in the 46th week (November 8 to 14). At this time, the corona of 11 thousand 732 people was identified. And 11 thousand 261 people recovered.

One lakh 6 thousand 7 samples were tested in the 46th week. 14 thousand 65 people were newly identified. At the same time 12 thousand 503 people recovered.

Data analysis for the 48th and 48th weeks showed that the sample test rate increased by 11.07 per cent, the detection rate by 26.02 per cent and the recovery rate by 10.63 per cent this week as compared to the previous week.

Coronavirus has killed 26 people in the last 24 hours. Among them 16 are men and 10 are women. The total number of deaths stood at six thousand 350 people.

At this time 12 thousand 456 samples were collected and 12 thousand 743 samples were tested in 116 laboratories. As a result, the number of sample tests stood at 26 lakh 35 thousand 202. At the same time, 1,848 new patients were identified. The total number of identified patients stood at 4 lakh 45 thousand 261 people.

One thousand 921 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of healthy patients stood at three lakh 60 thousand 352 people.

In the last 24 hours, the patient identification rate is 14.61 percent as compared to the sample test and so far the patient detection rate is 16.90 percent compared to the total sample test. Compared to the total number of patients identified, the recovery rate was 80.93 percent and the death rate was 1.43 percent.

Of the total deaths in Corona so far, 4,081 are men (7.8 percent) and 1,469 are women (23.13 percent).

The age-based analysis showed that of the 26 people who died in Corona in the last 24 hours, one in ten, one in thirty, one in forty, six in fifty and nineteen in sixty.

According to the department, out of the 26 dead, 16 were in Dhaka, three in Chittagong, three in Rajshahi, two in Khulna, two in Barisal, one in Sylhet and one in Rangpur.

Note that the first patient infected with corona in the country was identified on March 8. The first death from the virus occurred on March 17.(Source: Online)
