People across the country will experience low pressure of gas for 72 hours from Wednesday due to suspension of operation of a LNG station, known as floating storage and re-gasification unit (FSRU).

Petrobangla in a statement regrets the temporary inconvenience of the customers during the period.

Currently, the country has two FSRUs which supply about 1000-1100 million cubic feet of gas per day (MMCFD) of the total gas production of 2900 MMCFD.

Of the two FSRUs, one can supply 500 MMCFD gas and another 600 MMCFD gas.
