The filming of Afran Nisho’s second big screen project finally goes on the floor. The actor has recently started shooting for the Shihab Shaheen-directed film “Daagi” with two heroines Tama Mirza and Sunerah Binte Kamal.

According to sources, the movie’s shooting was supposed to start with an official announcement. Due to complications, that was not possible. Therefore, it is said that the shooting of the announcement promo has started secretly.

However, none of the actors, directors, or production companies has yet to make any official comments regarding “Daagi.” The details will be announced at a press conference. The movie is likely to hit the country’s theatres on Eid-ul-Fitr 2025.

Nisho’s debut film “Surongo” was released on Eid-ul-Azha last year. Besides “Surongo”, the actor was last seen in several OTT projects like “Punorjonmo Ontim Porbo”, “Neel Joler Kabya” and “Sharey Showlo”. The actor has signed another film in addition to “Daagi”.

“Daagi” will mark Nisho and Tama’s second big-screen project collaboration after Raihan Rafi’s hit “Surongo”. “Daagi” is also Shihab Shaheen’s second feature film after the 2015 released film “Chuye Dile Mon”.
