Detective Branch (DB) of police in a special drive against drug on Saturday evening arrested two drug peddlers from Miabari area in Soydabad union of Sirajganj Sadar upazila. During the drive, DB police also recovered 7kg of hemp from the arrestees.

The arrestees are Jaminur Rahman, 48, and Mozibar Rahman, 58.

Nazmul Haque, SI of DB police on Sunday said, a team of DB police conducted a special drive and arrested the duo along with mentioned amount of hemp.

A case was lodged with the respective police station this connection.
