Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested two persons along with two shutter gun from Jamtail passengers’ shed area under Doulatpur union in Belkuchi upazila of Sirajganj district on Friday afternoon.

During the drive, DB police also seized a motorbike from their possessions.

The arrested are Alamgir Hossain, 26 and Sajib Hossain, 22.

Ekramul Hossain, Officer in Charge of DB police in Sirajganj told The Daily Sky Correspondent that, we set up a makeshift check post at the mentioned place on the base of secret information. Later, we recovered the firearms after carrying a search.

A case was lodged with the respective Belkuchi police station in this connection.
