Educational institutions may be reopened after a long 9 months. Classroom teaching activities may start in a number of secondary level schools next year to prepare and complete the syllabus of SSC-equivalent candidates.An announcement could be made on Thursday (November 11), according to the education ministry.

Education Minister in a virtual discussion meeting with journalists on Wednesday. Dipu Moni said, “We are monitoring whether the educational institution will be opened or the leave will be extended or it will be opened for SSC students on a limited basis.” We will inform the media about the decision tomorrow (Thursday or Friday).

Meanwhile, at a recent press conference, the education minister announced an extension of two weeks’ leave for educational institutions, saying it was being monitored whether a number of educational institutions in the country could be reopened to complete the syllabus of next year’s SSC candidates. A number of schools will be opened and the syllabus of next year’s SSC candidates will be completed there following the hygiene rules. When the syllabus is over, they will take a test. Those who will build confidence after taking part in the public exam after that exam will take part in the main exam. If no one wants, they can take part in next year’s exam.

An additional secretary of the education ministry, who did not want to be named, told Jago News on Wednesday, “Even though the educational institutions have been closed for the last eight months due to the Corona situation, the holidays are not being extended again.” Secondary level educational institutions may be opened from November 15. There will be physical classes for the next SSC examinees. With the policy decision to hold the SSC exams at the scheduled time next year, the educational institutions will start preparing for the SSC exams.
