Kazipur Correspondent:

Police on Friday recovered the body of a Jubo League leader from a house of Tarakandi Bathanbari in Kazipur upazila of Sirajganj district.

The deceased was identified as Yusuf Ali Swapan, 40, son of Iman Ali Khan of Shubhogachha village in the same upazila. He was also Joint General Secretary of Shubhogachha Union Awami League.

Victim’s family sources said that, Swapan used to work at a dairy firm owned by one Sarjil Sampad of the Tarakandi village.

Being informed by locals, police reached to the spot and recovered his decomposed body from the house.

Police suspected that, Swapan’s death may have been occurred few days ago, but there was no sign of injury. Besides, the reason behind his death could not be known immediately. It will be clear after completion of autopsy, said Nur-e-Alam, Officer in Charge of Kazipur police station.

Swapan’s wife claimed that, his phone has been remained switched off since last Wednesday.
