4,418 drives conducted since 4 September

DNC lists 1,156 top drug traders, 83 godfathers

Director General of Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) Khondoker Mostafizur Rahman said that the country has 1,156 top drug traders, including 83 drug godfathers.

During the joint drive from 4 September to 5 October, 89 drug traders were arrested. Of them, 11 were godfathers.

The DG said this at a press briefing at the DNC Headquarters at Segunbagicha in the capital on Monday.

He said that the DNC conducted 4,418 drives since 4 September.
