Popular Dhallywood actress Dolly Zahur is set to return to the silver screen after a hiatus of nearly 15 years. She was last seen in a film in 2011 and, although she occasionally appeared in television dramas during this period, she stayed away from movies for a long time.

The veteran actress is making her long-awaited comeback with the film “Domm” directed by Redwan Rony. Dolly Zahur herself confirmed that she will be seen in an important role in the movie.

Speaking about her decision to return to films, the actress said that the story, shooting locations and the director’s working style convinced her to take on the project. “Rony is a very talented and sincere director. One can understand that just by watching his previous works. He is doing a wonderful job with this film as well,” she said.

In “Domm”, Dolly Zahur plays the role of actor Afran Nisho’s mother, while Pooja Cherry appears as her daughter-in-law.

Sharing her experience on the shooting set, she said, “The set has been beautifully designed right in the middle of the road. Everything necessary for quality work is available here.”

Dolly Zahur has acted in 161 films throughout her long and distinguished career. Her debut film was “Ashadharon”, directed by Rahim Nawaz.
