The Shakib Khan starrer film “Dorod” was released in theatres across Bangladesh on November 15 last year. Originally planned for a simultaneous release in both India and Bangladesh, the film’s Indian premiere faced multiple delays. However, it is now finally set to arrive in Indian theatres.

Shakib Khan’s “Dorod” will be released in India on February 28, three months after its Bangladesh premiere.

Indian production company Eskay Movies has confirmed the news. Additionally, a post on the company’s Facebook page stated, “In the game on Saturday there’s only excitement, no rivalry. Shakib Khan is coming with “Dorod” on February 28.”

However, the production company has not clarified whether the film will be released exclusively in West Bengal or if it will also premiere in other states across India.

The romantic psycho-thriller film, a joint production of Bangladesh and India, is directed by Annono Mamun, who also wrote the story and screenplay. The film’s producers include Ashok Dhanuka, Himanshu Dhanuka, Kamal Mohammed Kibariya, and Anonno Mamun.

Apart from Shakib Khan, the cast also features Sonal Chauhan, Payel Sarkar, Rahul Dev, and Rajesh Sharma.
