Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin said that all election work including delimitation of constituencies is progressing well.

He also said that every step is being communicated with the government from time to time.

He on Sunday made the statement at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon, Dhaka while extending post-Eid greetings.

Addressing the attendees, he said, “You completed the voter registration work in a rapid manner. You did a great job.”

The CES also said that every step is being communicated with the government. All work including National Identity Card (NID) and delimitation of constituency is progressing well.

During the meeting other EC officials including four Election Commissioners Abdur Rahmanel Masud, Begum Tahmida Ahmad, Md.Anwarul Islam Sarker, Brig Gen Abul Fazal Md Sanaullah (Retd) and Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed were present.

The EC has started taking preparations assuming that the election will be held in December.
