Enforced Disappearance: Victims now can file complaint against agencies

Enforced disappearance victims and their family members now can lodge complaint with the Commission of Inquiry of Enforced Disappearance against all agencies including Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) providing detail information.

The complaints must be filed with the inquiry commission between 15 September and 30 September, according to a notification issued by the government on Friday.

The complaint will be accepted over the incidents took place between 1 January 2010 and 5 August 2024.

The petitioners can file the complaint by calling 01701662120 or 02-58812121 or emailing [email protected].

The complaint can also be filed by appearing in person at the office of the commission holding no. 96, Gulshan Avenue, Dhaka.
