BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu has called for unity to protect the country, emphasizing the need to ensure security both in the hills and the plains. He stated, “If anyone thinks they can occupy even an inch of this country’s land, that will never be realized.”
He made these remarks on Sunday at a discussion held at Jatiya Press Club.
“Everybody must unite to protect our country. Security must be ensured in both the hills and the plains. Bloodshed will not bring any solution,” said BNP Vice Chairman
The BNP leader further added, “Just as India does not want anyone to interfere with the ‘Seven Sisters’ region, we also do not want anyone to talk about our hill tracts.”
Rashed Khan, the General Secretary of Gono Odhikar Parishad, was also present at the program. He said, “Discrimination in our country has not disappeared. In fact, it is increasing day by day. How did the term ‘Adibashi’(Indigenous) appear in our NCTB textbooks? Dr. Yunus must take full responsibility for this. ”
At the event, Rashed Khan, General Secretary of Gono Odhikar Parishad, claimed, “Discrimination in the country has not been eliminated; rather, it is increasing day by day. How did the term ‘indigenous’ appear in textbooks under this government? Dr. Yunus must take responsibility for this.”
