Former Awami League lawmaker Haji Mohammad Salim was arrested from the capital’s Bangshal area on Sunday night.

DB Joint Commissioner (North) Mohammad Rabiul Hossain Bhuiyan confirmed the matter.

Details of the arrest would be disclosed later, he said, adding that he was wanted in a number of cases.
