Experimental train runs at speed of 120 km from Bhanga

An experimental train left from Bhanga Junction in Faridpur for Rupdia in Jashore. The train left the Bhanga junction at 8.41 am on Saturday. Md Shakhawat Hossain is driving the train.

Bhanga Railway Station Master Zillur Rahman said that this high-speed trial train left for Jashore’s Rupdia at 8.41 am on Saturday. That train will take only one hour to reach Jashore at a speed of 120 kmph. The train will leave for Rupdia railway station again on the morning of March 31. It will leave again from Jashore to Bhanga. In this way, the trial train will run several times.

It is known that earlier it took 5 hours to reach Jashore from Bhanga via Faridpur-Rajbari. If the new railway line is opened there, it will take only one hour to reach Bhanga to Jashore. Apart from Saturday, another high-capacity trial train will leave for Jashore’s Rupdia on Sunday morning. Vanga will come again from Jeshore. The next day it will go to Jeshore again from Vanga. Army and senior officials of the railway project are monitoring everything during the trial train journey.
