After a slight slowdown in April, Bangladesh’s goods exports have regained pace again in May, logging an 11.45% growth compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year 2023-2024.
According to the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Bangladesh’s exports in May were $4.74 billion, which was $4.25 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
In April, Bangladesh’s exports were valued at $3.92 billion.
According to EPB data, Bangladesh’s total exports of goods in the 11 months from July to May of the current fiscal year 2024-25 stood at $44.95 billion, which is 10% more than the same period of the previous fiscal year.
