BNP will ensure equal rights for all citizens of the country if the party comes to power in the next general election, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, secretary general of the party, has said.
“It cannot be called minorities, we are all equal,” he said while addressing a National Council of Minority Ethnic Groups in Dhaka, on Saturday.
Claiming that there is a prospect in front of the countrymen to build a new Bangladesh after the utter fall of the monstrous Awami League government, he said a conspiracy is being hatched to foil the upcoming general election as extremism is raising its ugly head again in the country.
“Efforts are underway to divide the nation through extremism. We must stay united and vigilant so that no conspiracy succeeds,” said the BNP leader.
