FIFA has announced that ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico will begin on 10 September 2025. Fans eager to attend the tournament are urged to pre-register on FIFA’s official website to be eligible for the first ticket application phase.
The announcement came just a day after the successful conclusion of the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, which FIFA called a “rousing success.”
“We’re looking forward to welcoming the world back to North America,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino. “We encourage fans everywhere to get ready to secure their place – these will be the most coveted seats in world sport.”
While FIFA has yet to release specifics on the ticketing structure, it confirmed that multiple sales phases will run from September 2025 up to the final on 19 July 2026. Each phase may feature different purchasing methods, payment options, and ticket types. Further details will be shared in the coming months.
The 2026 World Cup — the largest in history with 48 teams — will kick off in Mexico City on 11 June and end with the final in New Jersey on 19 July.
