The fire at Narayanganj’s Bhulta Gauchia raw market has been brought under control. The fire was brought under control at around 5:45 am on Sunday (March 24). Earlier, the fire broke out around 3:30 midnight on Saturday (March 23).

Deputy Assistant Director of Narayanganj Fire Service Fakhruddin said, that after receiving the information, 10 units of four stations in Kanchan, Arai Hazar, Demra, and Purbachal started working to control the fire. The fire was brought under control after about three and a half hours.

He also said that initially the cause of the fire and the amount of damage was not known.
