Five actresses from different generations—Tanjim Saiara Totini, Dilara Zaman, Saberi Alam, Monira Akter Mitu, and Shilpi Sarkar Apu—have come together for an Eid special drama, bringing a blend of experience and talent to the screen.

Titled “Tomader Golpo”, the drama is directed by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz. Other cast members include Farhan Ahmed Jovan, Nader Chowdhury, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, Somu Chowdhury, MNU Raju, and child actor Ayaat. However, the lead roles will be portrayed by Farhan Ahmed Jovan and Tanjim Saiara Totini.

Director Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz revealed that the drama centres around the tradition of city dwellers returning to their villages during Eid to celebrate with their loved ones. The storyline is designed to portray a heartfelt family experience.

He further shared that the script required skilled and seasoned actors, leading to the casting of renowned artistes. Their performances are set to enhance the emotional depth of the family-oriented drama.

Written by Siddiq Ahamed, the drama also features a brand-new song, composed and sung by Arfin Rumy.

“Tomader Golpo” is set to premiere on the Cinemawala YouTube channel during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
