Thick fog and persistent wet conditions forced the abandonment of the second ODI match between Bangladesh Under-19 and Afghanistan Under-19 at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogura on Friday.

Despite long delays and several inspections, the outfield remained unfit for play, leaving officials with no option but to call off the game without a ball being bowled.

Bangladesh lead the five-match Youth ODI series 1–0 after their five-run victory (via the Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method) in the opening match. The third ODI will be played on 3 November at the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium, which will be crucial as both sides will look to gain momentum in the weather-affected series.
