An exceptional football tournament for hearing and speech impaired youths was held at the Daulatpur Multipurpose High School ground in Belkuchi Upazila of Sirajganj on Friday (December 27) afternoon.

The programme was organized by Belkuchi Upazila Hearing and Speech Impaired Welfare Organization under the chairmanship of Abdul Salam and moderated by journalist Narayan Malakar.

Players from the two teams of Belkuchi and Kazipur Upazila Hearing and Speech Impaired Welfare Organizations took part in the match.

Dulal Chowdhury, Assistant Professor of Daulatpur Degree College, Dr. Mozammel Haque, Demonstrator of Biology Department in Daulatpur College, prominent businessman Md. Saiful Islam Shishir, BNP leaders Babul Pramanik, Selim Reza, Rezaul Karim, President of Belkuchi Upazila Unit of Hearing and Speech Impaired Committee Md. Alamin Hossain and General Secretary Sultan Mahmud among others were also present in the event.

Such an exceptional football tournament has created a stir in the area. Later, prizes were distributed among the winners by the invited guests.
