The voice in an audio clip saying, “I’ve received a license to kill 227 people,” has been confirmed through forensic analysis to be that of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, according to the investigation agency of the International Crimes Tribunal.
Chief Prosecutor Tajul Islam confirmed it on Wednesday (April 30).
He said that in an audio clip circulated online, a voice is heard saying, “There are 227 cases against me, so I’ve received a license to kill 227 people.”
Following a forensic analysis, the tribunal’s investigation agency confirmed that the voice belongs to ousted Sheikh Hasina.
In response to the statement, a contempt of court petition has been filed against Sheikh Hasina, accusing her of interfering in and threatening the proceedings of the International Crimes Tribunal.
