Bangladesh Television (BTV) has made a single-episode drama titled “Ghor” (Home). Written by Nasrin Mustafa and directed by Mahfuzar Rahman, the drama stars Masum Bashar, Shatabdi Wadud, Deepa Khandka, Toma Islam, Sadika, Bonanta and many others.

The story of “Ghor” revolves around a seven-year-old boy named Shuvo. He feels lonely due to his busy parents. Symptoms like lying and depression develop in Shuvo’s mind. His parents do not understand his longing for a happy family with them. Their regular fight unsettles Shuvo.

One day, he goes missing from school. The distressed child hugs an old man he meets on the road as if he is a grandfather. The old gentleman accompanies Shuvo and brings him back home. By now, Shubo’s parents realise that they are ruining the present of their child by engaging in an imaginary competition to build his future.
